Our Purpose

Our Commitment

The Global Awareness Charitable Trust is a nonprofit devoted to preserving, honoring, and sharing the sacred spiritual teachings and practices while supporting programs that cultivate global awareness, healing, and conscious living.

Rooted in reverence for ancestral wisdom and guided by a vision of planetary harmony, we create spaces where ancient knowledge meets modern life—awakening deeper connection to self, community, Earth, and Spirit.

We are not affiliated with any single lineage, tradition, or spiritual group. Instead, we serve as a bridge—honoring multiple wisdom traditions and creating respectful, multicultural experiences that reflect the shared truths found across cultures.

Welcome,

Current Initiatives

Supporting Indigenous Wisdom, Community Health & the Future of Traditional Medicine

This is an extraordinary Indigenous initiative led by the Kogi, Mamos, Zagas, and the Teku Foundation in Colombia. The Mushendua Kunsharruna (Indigenous and Intercultural Health Model) is a community-based program dedicated to preserving ancestral healing knowledge while providing vital healthcare to Indigenous communities throughout the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Funds raised directly support transportation, meals, lodging, educational materials, and essential supplies for students and volunteers who travel from remote villages to study with respected Indigenous healers and Elders. These participants are trained to recognize emerging illnesses within their communities, activate health response protocols, and carry forward generations of traditional medicinal knowledge. Upon completing the program, participants receive an official certificate from the Teku Foundation, a program recognized by both the Colombian government and partnering universities for its contribution to Indigenous education and community health.

This program combines the wisdom of traditional plant medicine with community wellness. Using 100% natural remedies created from medicinal plants, flowers, moon-infused water, and sea vapor, participants learn healing practices that support the blood, physical body, skeletal system, vitality, and spiritual well-being. The program also assists communities through preventative health education and treatment support for a wide range of illnesses while helping preserve one of the world's oldest continuous healing traditions for future generations.

Every contribution helps ensure that this sacred knowledge continues to serve the people of the Sierra Nevada, empowering Indigenous communities to care for themselves while protecting a living tradition that benefits both humanity and the Earth.
