All Aboard! Mamos Sacred Journey with the Dolphin and Whales

Welcome Aboard!

This is a very special opportunity to be with the Mamos in the open ocean with the dolphin and whales.    We will spend time offering our blessings, playing music, and performing sacred ceremonies to help support the earth during these times of transformation.  

We will be departing Chadds Ford, PA on a private luxury bus to take us to the Atlantic City, NJ Marina where we will board the Atlantic City Cruise Line https://atlanticcitycruises.com/gallery/ for a PRIVATE two-hour whale and dolphin tour in the Atlantic Ocean. 

Upon returning to the marina, we will gather for lunch at the Gilchrist Restaurant  https://gilchristrestaurant.com/ just steps away from our dock.   Please note: You are responsible for paying for your own lunch (please estimate between $10 -15 Per Person)

After our meal, we will gather at Oscar E. McClinton Waterfront Park for our final ceremony with the Mamos before boarding the bus to head back to Chadds Ford, PA.

SCHEDULE:

7:30 AM:  Bus departs from 641 Webb Road, Chadds Ford, PA to Atlantic City, NJ

9:30 AM:  Arrive at Atlantic City Marina to board the Atlantic City Cruise Line Private Charter Boat.  

(Please note the boat holds 100 people and has restrooms.   Due to the nature of this work, we are limiting the group to 30.)

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Dolphin and Whale Tour with the Mamos in sacred song and ceremony

12:00 - 1:00 PM - Lunch at the Gilchrist Restaurant, Atlantic City Marina

1:00 - 2:00 PM - Final Pagamento (Ceremony) at the Oscar E. McClinton Waterfront Park, Atlantic City Beach

2:00 PM - Bus Departs from Atlantic City, NJ

4:00 PM  Arrive at Chadds Ford, PA

OUR GUIDES:

The Mamos are the High Priests and Priestesses (Sagas) of the Tayrona culture (consisting of the 4  tribes; Kogi, Arhaucos, Wiwi, and Kankaumo) of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Columbia.   These are the indigenous shaman/sha-woman that are the sacred Earth keepers of the heart of the world.  They have come out of the peaks of the Santa Marta mountains to bring their lineage and vibrational genetic codes to the Western "little Brothers" to awaken the energy of the love for Mother Earth and self-love within humanity,  Being in the presence of the Mamos alters human DNA.

This will be a day of storytelling, music, sacred ceremony, healing, and blessings of the attendees for the earth, and our sacred waterways.  

We will be guided by one Zaga and the three Mamos along with their beautiful translator, Abu Ginny.   In addition, we are blessed to have Orlando Villarraga a musician,  and sound artist with us to play for the dolphins and whales with the Mamos.

MAMO RODRIGO

Mamo Sewigu Kakamukwa (Mamo Rodrigo) comes from a lineage of Mamos that goes beyond his great-great-grandfather, his family comes from the Kakamukwa lineage and there have been Mamos in his family in every single generation.

Mamo Sewigu (Mamo Rodrigo) was an educator and leader of his community before receiving his Segwa at the head of the Jerez River when being ordained as a Mamo. Mamo Sewigu is not only a Mamo, but he was a Maestro first.

For the Tayrona, a Maestro is a weaver, a storyteller, a musician, a teacher, and is also in charge of making Sacred Objects for the community.

A Maestro is a weaver who makes the walls of the Temple and the hats the Wiwa people wear, a Maestro also makes the Carrumbo (Sacred Object: a spindle) that the young females use to spin the cotton.

Mamo Sewigu/Rodrigo was the teacher who opened the first bilingual School in 2007 inside the Reservation to teach basic Spanish and Math, as well as their Traditional Knowledge, to prevent the youngsters to leave the Reservation while preserving their Cultural Identity. He has also worked for the Colombian Public Health Department during Public Health campaigns as a nurse. His knowledge of the Tayrona languages as well as his knowledge of the Wiwa and Kogi territory in the state of Guajira enables him to act in the capacity of an intercultural bridge.

ZAGA JOSEFINA

Zagas are the female equivalents of Mamos. They are much more than just leaders they represent the Light in the darkness. They hold the Ancestral Wisdom for future generations. They move and behave in alignment with the rhythm of Nature and humanity. They are the Healers and hold the keys for the Water, the Earth, and the Air elements. And because of this, the Zagas have a big responsibility to sustain the Planet. They are the weavers of knowledge and are responsible to maintain and pass on Ancestral Wisdom. Zagas represent the Moon and are the rulers of time and

cycles.

Zagas are multi-dimensional bridges that communicate freely with the other realms and are able to translate messages from the different kingdoms in Nature, as well as interpret messages from dreams and the signs written in the landscape by Gaia.  As is the case for most Zagas, Zaga Josefina was chosen by divination when her mother was pregnant and began her training from birth. Zaga Josefina plays an important role in her community, she is responsible to guide and educate the girls during their various rites of passage, such as a girl’s first menstruation, giving birth, etc. She is a teacher and a counselor for her community.

Zaga Josefina is a Priestess, a medicine woman, a botanist, a midwife, a massage therapist, a weaver, a storyteller, an adviser, a seer, a diviner, a musician, and an Elder. Besides her normal functions as a Priestess which include: officiating weddings and baptisms as well as administering Funeral Rites, Zaga Josefina specializes in clearing the energy field of people by different means: aguarrinchi and Frailejon and preparing talismans or “seguranzas” which are power objects that will protect the person who wears them.  Zaga Josefina as a Clay pot maker was given the special authorization to heal certain physical conditions.

MAMO ATILIO

Mamo Atilio is an Arhuaco Mamo and comes from a family of Mamos and Zagas. He is a teacher with a deep knowledge of Sacred Materials. Sacred Materials are the natural materials they used to offer Pagamentos for Nature and the Earth. This requires extensive knowledge of plants, animals, and minerals, as well as experience in order to choose the specific material that matches the type of Pagamento or Ceremony they are performing.

He has the proper authorization from the Spiritual Fathers of the Mineral kingdom to carry rocks, Tumas (Pre-Columbian, Ancestral pieces of Quartz), and all sorts of crystals in large quantities to perform Ceremonies/Pagamentos.

Mamo Atilio is also a Spiritual lawyer and a musician who plays Ancestral Songs of the Arhuaco nation.

MAMO CENCIO

Mamo Cencio is a Kogi Mamo who is a botanist with extensive knowledge of the native species of the Sierra. He is also a teacher of Medicinal plants for the Kogis. As a doctor of Ancestral Medicine, he is constantly traveling to distant villages in Kogi territory to take care of his people. He offers his services as a doctor, priest, counselor, and Spiritual leader for a large group of people who are living in a wide area of the Kogi territory in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta.  He is also a musician who plays different Tayrona musical instruments and teaches his people the Ancestral songs of the Kogi Nation.

He is authorized to use the Jatuquá which is a sacred method of Divination by water.

GINNY VILLARRAGA - MA PREM NALAKINI - ABU GINNY (OUR TRANSLATOR)

Ginny’s life journey was profoundly influenced by her early childhood where she grew up in the Caribbean among mature trees, tropical plants, and a pond filled with lotus flowers. Her connection with nature established a deep appreciation for the natural world.

In her early 20s, Ginny had a Near Death Experience that would impact her understanding of reality as we know it. She began it understand the connection between the land, the natural kingdoms, and the emotional and physical well-being of humans. This ‘sight’ enabled her to connect deeply with people’s emotional bodies, and their state of being and relate to their personal experiences from another point of view.

Ginny’s deep knowledge and understanding of humans as an interconnected element within the natural environment has allowed her to heal and support so many. She feels the better connected we are to the Earth and Nature, the better emotional and physical well-being we experience.

These experiences lead Ginny on a spiritual quest to India, and the Pune Ashram to study with one of her first spiritual teachers, Osho at the age of 19. From there she continued her spiritual studies with teachers from around the world in the I Ching with Master Alfred Huang for many years. Ginny’s studies include Feng Shui, Aura Soma, Beamer Light, Butterfly and Sea Essences, Counseling, Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing, and Dowsing.

Ginny speaks several languages and has lived in several different countries and places within the United States. She serves as an intercultural bridge. Her experience with the Mamos, who fondly call her Abu Ginny (Abu, meaning Mother) has taken her to many sacred sites throughout the world with them in support of their mission of regaining balance within the planet. She works with them in the field as well as provides legal translation, interpretation, logistics, and fundraising for their villages in the High Sierra Mountains of Columbia. Ginny’s gift is not only translating the words of the Mamos (the Kogi, Arhuaco, Wiwa tribes of South America) but, most importantly, distilling the true essence of their message for the healing of humanity and the planet.

ORLANDO VILLARRAGA

Orlando loves to express himself as a poet, musician, and sound artist.  Orlando often finds himself living “in-between” worlds and draws inspiration from that complex and nuanced space.  His approach to his work has come at an intersection of studying under the Teyuna indigenous cultures of Colombia and undertaking mentorship in contemporary sound meditation practices. His work intends to hold a mirror to our own meaningfulness and connection to nature, which is fertile soil for catalyzing connection within, and with each other.

Notable collaborations/appearances include MoMA and Wisdom.LA, Garrison Institute, NYU’s Love Class, The Interpersonal Neurobiology Conference, Science and Nonduality Conference, and Wisdom 2.0.

Please note:  The exchange for the event is a donation of $333 for the Mamos.  It is tax-deductible.  We will have a translator for the program.   Please dress accordingly and watch the weather.  Bing plenty of snacks and water.   You are responsible for purchasing your own lunch.
